Domain name parking can make you money
Have you ever typed in a domain name and arrived at a default page saying: 'http://www.thisdomainname.com is under construction'. Well you can stop advertising your domain name registrar's site and start using that parked domain name for making yourself money. If you have registered domain names, but so far you don't use them, domain parking is a useful way to use them to earn you money. Your idle domain name is used to display relevant advertisements, and whenever anybody clicks on one of the advertisements you earn money, because domain parking services provide free hosting and pay you every time someone clicks on an ad associated with your domain name. Whether you are a net pro with a collection of domain names or someone holding a single valuable name and not using it yet, parking with one of the parking services can turn your traffic into income. Some people actually make their primary income from registering domain names and parking them! But if you have registered a name or two with plans for websites but haven't got round to it yet, and don't know when you will, this could at least cover the domain name registration costs, and perhaps make you a bit on the side.
